FFF5 | Chto Delat & Anton KatsPark FablesUsing as raw materials traces of history and memory, fragments of identities and experiences, the world-renowned Russian collective Chto Delat and the visual artist and musician Anton Kats cultivate on the fertile field ground of Pedion tou Areos. Through a theatrical performance, a radio station, brief visual interventions and parallel actions, they create a fictional field between the real and the imaginary in one of the most polysemous public spaces in Athens.

FFF5 | Hikaru FujiiThe Primary FactAn Ancient Greek mass grave with 80 dead prisoners was discovered two years ago in Paleo Faliro. The Japanese visual artist Hikaru Fujii returns to the FFF and after extensive research, in collaboration with the choreographer Patricia Apergi and the people in charge of the excavation, he turns his eye to this astounding find, spotlighting the "dark" pre-Golden Age Athens of the 7th century BCE. The audiovisual installation that he mounts in an emblematic building of the academic community, the former Chemistry building, which is now the Law School library, includes interviews with those in charge of the excavation – from archaeologists to dentists – and the reenactment of the execution and the burial by a chorus of young Athenians.

FFF5 | Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil JoreigeUnconformitiesIt is for the third time that OCC invites the distinguished French-Lebanese pair, this time for their project “Unconformities” at the Acropolis Museum, following its initial presentation at Centre Pompidou in Paris for which they were awarded the Prix Marcel Duchamp (2017). “Unconformities” is a mixed media installation, an amalgam of soil and rocks, stories and secrets of three historic cities.

FFF5 | Robert Zhao RenhuiThe Nature MuseumNature invades Victoria Square. The rooms of an old Athenian residence host a peculiar "Nature Museum". There, at 15 Derigny Street, an award winning Singaporean artist, in collaboration with Greek experts, mounts an adventurous installation showcasing the unknown flora and fauna of Athens – from the rivers that disappeared to the wildlife that was quashed by uncontrollable urbanisation.
