iDance: Choreographic experimentsMixed dance group for individuals with and without disabilities

Three choreographers and twenty dancers with and without disabilities who participated in previous workshops are ready for their next dance adventure. This year, three workshops come together into one large, mixed group, which will lead iDance to its dynamic crescendo, demonstrating yet again the power of dance.

A modern, lyrical puppet theatre for all ages, with live music and a revolutionary mood; it’s this year’s original ‘away off-site performance produced by the Onassis Stegi for high-school students, teachers and other special audience groups, such as inmates, senior citizens, the chronically ill, people in rehabilitation centres, people with disabilities and everybody who is unable to access the arts easily, or is in remote areas .

The Onassis Cultural Centre makes its theatrical performances accessible to high school students and invites them to meet and talk to the people staging them. Because everything that Chekhov’s characters can’t get off their minds matters to us all.
