In the last show of this season, we go off OCC, look up and surrender to a cinephile Vertigo.
“I look up, I look down”, says detective John Scotty Ferguson (Jimmy Stewart) in the first scene of the movie as he battles with his acrophobia. So, what would be more fitting than our decision to do just that? To watch Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo in its digitally restored copy and celebrate its sixtieth anniversary (as it comes to Greece straight from its 71st Cannes Festival premiere) in a special showing on the recently restored terrace of the historic οpen air cinema “Anesis”.
Due to uncertain weather conditions, the film showing is to be held on 16 July at the same cinema.
The tickets for the 9 July showing are cancelled and the refund will depend on the form of payment:
- For card users the amount due will be credited to the relevant bank account in about 10 workdays.
- Cash purchases are refunded Monday through Sunday 9:00 to 21:00, in the OCC ticket offices.
