Borderline Festival 2019 / ONASSIS CULTURAL CENTRE

Borderline Festival 2019

5-7 APR 2019
Inside & Outside the Onassis Stegi
In its ninth year, Borderline, the most adventurous music festival in Athens, returns more timely than ever. The Onassis Cultural Centre, in collaboration with the Irtijal Festival of Experimental Music in Beirut, brings us the most contemporary and avant-garde sounds of the international musical stage, in concerts, dj sets, screenings, and talks.
This international festival, which questions borders and boundaries of all sorts, continues for its 9th year to expand our aural horizons. This year, in collaboration with the Irtijal Festival of Experimental Music in Beirut and with its gaze turned toward both East and West, Borderline presents yet another adventurous program both at the Onassis Stegi and beyond.

The festival includes collaborations between Greek and foreign artists, installations, dj sets, screenings and talks that explore contemporary, experimental trends in music and sound art. Central to all the festival’s events are experimentation and the interplay between the random and the prepared, and between musicians and audience, as well.
