Main Stage
Cycle D | And yet it moves! | Science and technology in the 21st century
Free entrance
The 21st century has brought with it an ever more pressing need to debate technological developments and advances in the natural sciences. Facing up to climate change beyond myths and exaggerations, the need to safeguard bio-diversity, revolutionary developments in the fields of genetics and biotechnology and the impact these will have on our lives are all areas in which we owe it to ourselves to stay fully informed. This thematic cycle will equip us with the knowledge we need to debate and act accordingly.

Multiverse and LHC

The CERN experiment took over a decade to set up and has cost several billion Euros. What might the Large Haldron Collider reveal about the creation of the universe and the fundamental phenomena of Physics, and how?
