The programme aims to provide children with an understanding and appreciation of music. Through their active involvement, children develop their critical thinking and creativity, as they are provided with stimuli to explore sounds and music in a unique way: musical games, painting, live performances from the quartet "Musicians for Children".
Saturday, April 2: Recognizing sounds, making up stories, 'painting' the music, setting together images, discovering feelings that derive from music.
Saturday, April 9: Rhythm, harmony. Building musical instruments. Musicians performing along with children. Children participating with their own Orchestra - Chorus!
Saturday, April 16: The quartet performs live, generating musical games.
Saturday, April 30: A concert with the quartet, with a repertoire ranging form Bach to Beatles! At this last workshop, parents can participate as well.
