Friday 11, Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 February 2011
80 € (for all three days)
A three-day workshop led by Hildegard De Vuyst, the dramaturgist with the RootlessRoot company, at the OCC.
What do we see? How much simpler can a question be? And yet it's hard to answer. It's the start of a 3-day workshop in Dance and Dramaturgy for choreographers with a certain experience and their dancers. Let's formulate it like this: even when there's no dramaturge involved, there's always a dramaturgy, and it's better to be conscious about it. This workshop offers a thorough reflection on the practice of constructing a dance performance and on the construction of an individual trajectory as an artist. Future dramaturges can be involved as observers.

Participants must have a functional knowledge of English and are required to attend on all three days.
Participants will be chosen on the basis of a short CV, which should be sent, along with a covering paragraph expressing interest, to email@example.com
. Priority will be given to final-year dance students and to professional dancers and choreographers.
