The OCC will be hosting a tribute to Luciano Berio (1925-2003), one of the most important exponents of post-war Modernism.

The tribute, which marks the tenth anniversary of the composer’s death, will seek to highlight multiple aspects of his work and feature eminent musicians both performing virtuoso solo works including the famous Sequenzas and talking to the public about their interpretations.

The event will include electroacoustic works, screenings of films about the composer and a workshop/presentation. The tribute will be brought to a close with a concert of choral chamber music from different stages in the composer’s career.
