Stavros Gasparatos enjoys a fruitful career as a composer and writes extensively for the theatre and cinema.

His latest work revisits the music he wrote for the production of the same name, Seven Deadly Sins, choreographed by Angeliki Stellatou and staged at the OCC in 2011. For this live performance that follows the work’s release with the title “Seven” by the German Ad Noiseam label (Berlin), he joins forces with paris mexis + stam vart to create a video performance that interacts both with the music and with George Tellos’ lighting design.

Anastasis Misirlis: cello
Dionysis Vervitsiotis: violin
Themis Simvoulopoulos: vibraphone, classical percussion
Dimitris Hountis: soprano saxophone
Stavros Gasparatos: piano, live electronics
Video: paris mexis + stam vart
Lighting Design: George Tellos

The album “Seven” is released by Ad Noiseam (Berlin).
