The renowned sound sculptor Bill Fontana studied with the late John Cage, and was inspired by him to dedicated his work to the art of listening. In discussion with the theoretical cosmologist Subodh Patil,  who is his CERN inspiration partner during his Collide@CERN residency at the world's largest particle physics laboratory outside Geneva, Bill and Subodh will discuss notions of harmony in both science and the arts - their evolution, interaction and overlaps. And how listening to the universe itself can reveal the origins of sound and lead to new artistic and scientific discoveries.
